This conference aims to highlight the importance of signs, symptoms and signals of potentially serious diseases that may easily be overlooked by a non-specialist especially in acute care. With the move towards the community it is also important to highlight cases that may present in ways not described in standard texts and that may be seen outside the hospital.

Audience: Consultant physicians and trainees in all medical specialties, GPs and allied healthcare professionals.
